will be a celebration of the history and development of Swordplay and Unarmed fighting styles. |
| The workshop will explore classes
in historical fighting techniques and styles, stage and film combat techniques and process, contemporary martial arts and movement theory. |
| There will be a focus on
how these disciplines have been taught and passed on from teacher to student throughout history. This forum will explore the movement art forms of the part and present and establish a living library to preserve the international body of research that is found in the study of the Art of Stage Combat. |
| There will be classes for every
level of participant, from novice to the highly advanced. Classes will be suitable for: Fight Directors Choreographers Actors (stage & screen) Historical Fencers Teachers Martial Artists Modern Fencers Scholars & Historians |
| Personal Note: Banff has always been my favourite workshop. Everyone shares what they do best and the level of talent is inspiring. The venue is inspirational and the friendships last forever! |
