Here are some of the nice (or nicer) things that have been said about me in print and around the web.

The Island Packet - May 5th, 2006
Cort (Gaston) is perfectly cast for the part and is only outshone in some scenes by his sidekick Le Fou, played with incredible pluck by Bryce Bermingham, a newcomer to the Arts Center whose role as a buffoon disguises a talented man, who not only is a gifted actor, but also displays impressive ability in his role as fight director for the show.

“Gaston”…was probably the best-performed of the play…I should note that Bermingham is a capable and talented physical comedian and the character probably is the one that kids will get the biggest kick out of.

…talented physical comedian Bryce Bermingham shone as second-banana Lefou.

Classical Voices of North Carolina - May 5, 2005

Bryce Bermingham expertly executes many a hilarious pratfall as Gaston’s long-suffering Harpo Marx-like assistant Lefou.

Triangle - May 3, 2005

As Lefou, Gaston's sidekick, the amazingly limber Bryce Bermingham takes a pratfall on practically every other line.

The South End - April 15, 2005

Bryce Bermingham did an outstanding job in portraying the dim-witted character Lefou.

And here's a word for Bryce Bermingham as Lefou, who I'm sure set a Guinness Book of World Records record for falling down and getting up with the fewest hemisemidemi-seconds passing. I've seen cuts of beef and salmon that have been filleted but never a human being who'd had his bones removed. Yet Bermingham must have had that done to him, considering the way he moved about the stage.

His "Gaston" with the male chorus stops the show....a marvelously antic, frantic knockabout comic foil in Bryce Bermingham's Lefou.

Bryce Bermingham as Mungojerrie and Pamela Rainey as Rumpleteazer make a great pair as the cats who happen to be cat burglars, or is it troublemakers? Both performers have solid vocals to match their first rate dance technique. Their duet in act one is another musical number highlight of the evening.

The double cartwheel is still there and so is a lively routine. One thing makes Bryce always interesting to watch – he seems to be always be having fun…

Ok, I just have to say one thing. Bryce Bermingham has a beautiful voice! He and his new Rumple, Pam Rainey, dance well together, too. I love the way they laugh after they mention the ming vase. It's hysterical.  Bryce's voice really fits the character of Mungojerrie. What a BEAUTIFUL sound. :)

Mungojerrie (Bryce Bermingham) was just as awesome ((....& handsome)) as I thought he would be. His expression when they bump backs is priceless! To me, despite knowing that he hadn't spoiled his interpretation of the character itself by listening to other recordings, it sounded as though he had a mix of the Original Cast Australian and B'way (Roger Kachel) versions along with his own blend of cuteness and humour.

This guy was awesome. He was a great singer, a really good acrobat, a very funny actor, and also very funny out of costume.

Pasatiempo - October 29, 1999

Bermingham’s impressive performance is nicely modulated, ranging from sweetness to rage.  When his emotions break loose, the true terror begins.
